At SCI Technology Institute, we believe the quality of trainers is an imperative to help shape the fast advancement of skilled prepress professional. Equipped with vast experience and immense knowledge in the innovative graphic arts and printing industry, the trainers craft the course schedules and lead technical progression in all courses.
Mr Colin Choo
 |
Mr. Colin Choo has been in the Graphic Arts Industry for more than 18 years. His career started as an I.T. Product Marketing Executive in a local I.T. company and was headhunted to join a leading Japanese Graphic Arts in Singapore to market their prepress equipment as a Sales Executive. And he has never looked back since.
During this period, he has scored many first in the Singapore Prepress Industry. With his wealth of knowledge in the prepress sector, he sold the first non-proprietary DTP system, the first True DTP Postscript Image setter, the first Thermal C.T.P system, the first 16 pages Thermal C.T.P, just to name a few.
He is currently the Managing Director of Prints Incorporate Pte Ltd that specialists in measuring devices and quality control lightings for the printing industry.

Ms Liao Siew Chin
 |
Ms Siew Chin holds a degree in Bachelor of Arts from National University of Singapore and two diplomas, an advanced diploma in Business Administration from The Association of Business Executives, UK and a graduate diploma in Marketing Management from Singapore Institute of Management. She has also been awarded the Industry Trainer Certificate from the Institute of Technical Education (ITE).
She has accumulated vast experience in the Print & Media Industry, having been in the industry for more than 20 years. She was an Editor with several publishing companies, handling books, magazines and other commercial publications before moving on to Marketing & Management in prepress and printing. Siew Chin has also been involved in in-house training for the past 15 years, training in-house staff such as customer service executives, sales & marketing personnel as well as printing supervisors in the areas relating to prepress, workflow & machinery, as well as colour & quality control. She looks forward to sharing her knowledge, together with her practical experience with students and helping them to excel in their career.

Mr Rino Binder
 |
Mr. Rino Binder has been in the Print Industry for more than 38 years, resulted in his promotion as Technical Director. He is also a member of the Board of Management for Zurichsee Druckereien AG, where he was in charge of a work force of about 100 employees.
Besides being a trainer for ITE in Offset Printing. Mr. Binder has been giving consultation on quality control and standardization to printing companies, assisting customers with reports in court cases, troubleshooting print errors, and etc. Highest Qualification:

Prof Andre K Economou
 |
Prof André was already a veteran in the graphic arts industry, actively sharing his expertise in colour science and colour management with corporations. With over 19 years of experience in the field, he also provides professional colour and consulting services to the graphic arts and pre-press community.
As a colour scientist, André has also owned a colour reproduction house in Australia. He supported industry professionals, from photographers to art directors, in typesetting, drum scanning, colour retouching, publishing and colour reproduction.

Mr Peter Loh
 |
Being trained in Print Prepress and Graphic Design in the early years, Mr Peter
Loh started off as a Designer and move on be in the senior design position in
the Design Studio, Printer and Publishing House. Because of his interest in Mac
Prepress system, he one setup a Design House Prepress hardware department
and it workflow. Following that, he started his own design studio before moving
to do what he loves.. designing books.
He is currently working with Singapore largest Publishing House and manage
the Prepress team consisting of senior designers, designers and dtp artist. Giving
direction on specifications by local overseas customers in design concepts
and after providing co-ordination works with editors, inhouse & free-lance illustrators,
designers and typesetters and printers. Traveling to overseas to liaise
and give guidance to production house in India, Hong Kong supporting projects.
He also train in-house editors and designers on design and prepress workflow.

Mr Roy Kam
 |
Mr. Roy Kam, a trainer by profession, has been training young adults in the prepress trade since the early 70s. He started his career with the previous School of Printing after graduating with a technical craft certificate in printing and pedagogy from the Teacher's Training College under a bursary sheme award for technical teachers. He taught for 12 years in the School before going on into the Industry to take up a post as a technical advisor for a reputed graphic art equipment manufacturer which started a subsidiary in Singapore in the 80s. Trained in Japan in the various graphic art equipment by the manufacturer, roy often went overseas to countries within the Asean region and others like India, Sri Lanka and Pakistan to conduct on-site training for cutomers after commissioning of the equipments. He also designed cutomised training programs for companies that required training in the prepress workflow. His knowledge and experience have pput him in demand as a trainer for in-house training from printing companies and newspaper companies both locally and abroad.

Professor Wang Qiang
 |
Prof Wang Qiang is based in China and is a Doctor, Professor & Master mentor at Wuhan University, China. He is an expert in print digital workflow and quality management. He has published seven monographs, 50 thesises, and participated in 20 academic projects with the government of China. |
